Barcelona Legend, Johan Cruyff, dies of cancer



Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff has died aged 68 after a battle with cancer.
"On March 24 2016 Johan Cruyff (68) died peacefully in Barcelona, surrounded by his family after a hard fought b attle with cancer. It’s with great sadness that we ask you to respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief," a statement on his website read.

Cruyff, who ranks in the top 10 greatest footballers of all time, was the player who broke the dominance of Real Madrid in the 1970s as a player in Barcelona. He devised a system known as total football which is known as tikitaka. He also went on to coach Barcelona and set up the dream team in the early 1990s eventually handing Barcelona their first Champion's league title. The Netherlands international also played for Ajax football club
