The corpse of former Bayelsa Governor, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, might soon enter the Guinness Book of Records for the most postponed burials. The controversial ex-governor continues to stir controversy even in death as his burial has been postponed for the fourth time which has made Nigerians to believe that he is not dead.
Alamieyeseigha died on October 10, 2015 barely a week after UK authorities re-opened investigations into his fraud case. He was supposed to be buried in November but it was postponed to December and then in January, his cousin, Major Graham Naingba (rtd), said the funeral of the former governor will commence on March 24th and end on March 26th. However, the family now says the burial will take place on April 8. We are watching!
